Dear NAACPers: The Committee on Education of the Virginia State Conference NAACP is in support of Virginia Commonwealth University’s college chapter NAACP in protesting Governor Youngkin’s intrusion into what is being taught at VCU The governor has demanded that he reviews the curriculum of all Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) courses proposed to be taught to their students. Curriculum is a faculty and college administration responsibility, so this process is outside the norm. Join us in the protest march next Saturday to support VCU’s NAACP Chapter.
