Legal Redress

The Legal Redress committee continues to meet the needs of the community by giving legal assistance in instances where residents could usually not afford it, and to address legal issues as it relates to the Hanover County comunity.The NAACP may provide legal information and assistance to concerned citizens, but does not provide legal advice or legal information via e-mail. For legal advice, you should consult a local attorney. You may request legal information and other legal inquiries to the Legal Department by calling (804) 798-9798 or by E-mail: info@hcbnaacp.org

You may print a Discrimination Complaint Form Based on:
Race, Color, Religion, National Origin, Sex, Age and Handicapped Status. We ask that those who seek our assistance put their complaint in writing, provide as much information as possible.

Mail to the address below, the Legal Redress committee will attempt to resolve them where possible, or provide guidance to individuals on how to exercise their right to file administrative actions.
